U Joint Package - Ford F-150 4WD 97-03 (Except Regular Cab with a Short Bed)

Asked if this was the correct fit (u joint 351) for 1998 F150, but turns out that the bearing caps are too small. The 351 u joints bearing caps are 27mm, but my truck needed the 331 u joint, in which the bearing caps are 30mm. Editors note: the Moog ujoint 351 is not listed for the 98 F150 4x4 with a 2 piece driveshaft. All 3 ujoints should be 331.

These steering stabilizers are awful, they did not fit at all... the hardware on my vehicle did not fit into the steering stabilizers. Even after drilling out the metal for the hardware to fit the steering stabilizers did not even come close to clearing the mounts on my truck. My truck is completely stock these steering stabilizers are not for A 2000 f-250 complete garbage threw them away completely. DO NOT BUY Editors Note: I checked with the customer. He has dual steering dampeners. Dual steering dampeners are not OEM. I checked with Moog tech support and they confirmed that Ford did not use dual steering dampeners. The customer must have aftermarket dual steering dampeners.

Does not mention that there are different ball joints for the different controls. This kit comes with the ball joints for the cast steel control arms, not the aluminum control arms. Editors Note: On the page there are options which ball joint you choose for which control arm you have on your GM pickup. Here is a link to that page: https://www.suspension.com/chev-tahoe-2015-moog-front-end-rebuild-kit. You have to know if you have an aluminum, stamped steel or cast iron lower control arm. Recently, I had replaced my original control arms with some higher priced adjustable control arms and the change was horrible. Everything was done to remedy the problems, but nothing helped. I then decided to buy the control arms from MOOG. Once I painted them a bright Cherry Red to match the new trackbar I have, I had them installed. That solved my problem. I could not be more delighted. I highly recommend MOOG control arms.

93 Ford Bronco The joints seem to be very good quality but I ran into issues during installation. These u joints should come with different sized retaining clips for installation. I had to grind every clip down to about half its original thickness to get the u joints to fit properly and not be overly tight and bind when installed. Most people dont have a surface grinder sitting in their garage to make this a simple and precise task. If the joints came with 2-3 separate clip choices I would give these 5 stars, but Ill give them 2 stars as they are currently provided.

These bushings are fine, the brackets need to be bent to accommodate the frame which doesnt have an indent recessed enough for the mounting tabs on the bushings. But it holds the bar so finally, Im good.

I replaced the entire driveshaft last month due to the ujoints poor performance. I cant say they failed but they were never as good as the original Nissan versions. Ive experienced the same issue with MOOG ball joints on the front end as well. Just replaced them last month too, due to noisy and uncomfortable ride quality. This could be a Nissan design issue but I wont use NON-Nissan on this truck again, regardless of the initial cost.

Everything was good except the boots on the upper ball joints absolutely do not fit over the ball! So I have a bootless upper joint and will have to replace with something else. Unless you can send me new upper joints that the boot fits on. Editors Note: The Moog upper ball joint k9482 dust boot has a steel ring. The dust boot has to be pressed or drove on the body of the ball joint to seal. It is not a slip fit. Be careful and do not cut the dust boot. I would not be able to send you another ball joint.

I installed these on my 19 GTI with a 27MM rear sway bar. Fitment was perfect! I would suggest that you spray paint them as they come raw. These are way stronger than stock! The one problem that I ran in to is the nut that goes from endlink to swaybar came loose and was making a clunking noise. Probably was me not torquing them down enough but still 10/10 would recommend

I have nothing bad to say about the body mounts. They were a perfect fit and got rid of squeaks and banging and all sorts of other weird sounds. The only problem I had was getting the old ones off. That sucked. Getting the bolts out was easy with a little heat from the map torch, the problem was the upper and lower shells were rusted together. Particularly the very rearmost position. Once the old ones were out and part it didnt take 45 minutes per side to put them back. \nI knew the job would suck, thats why Ive put it off, but your body mounts worked out great. Plus theyre hard to find for that year Explorer.

I was very happy with the quality of the MOOG Wheel Bearing and Hub Assemblies. After inspecting many parts at the auto parts store I went with the MOOG parts namely because of their sealed bearings. Other brands of lesser quality had open non-sealed bearings where dirt and water could enter and shorten the lifespan of the part. I went with MOOG Tie rod ends and Lower A-Arms also. My 2004 Mustang better be happy. It was alot of work.

Cant give the 5 star that I would have liked to as one of the units was damaged in shipment due to lack of any proper padding and the ball joint was damaged and I am not willing to waste time or the money installing. The parts looked nice but not worth the effort to install. Editor;s Note: The ball joint was moveable with his thumb. He sent a video. We contacted Moog tech support with the video. In their opinion this was normal and the ball joint was ok.

One of the links I received had a 90 degree angled grease fitting that was an incorrect item for the link application. While the clearance of the link and lower control arm were not apparent with the vehicle elevated, I discovered later during an oil change and chassis lube that the fitting was broken off due to coming in contact with the control arm during suspension travel on the road! This makes it necessary for me to extract the threaded portion from the link and install a new correct one!

Track bar bushings had too much play and did not lock the front end down allowing the truck to death wobble, problem went away when the factory bar was reinstalled, upgraded to a BD diesel track bar and had great results as well which leads me to believe there was a problem with the Moog track bar.

Ive always been an OEM guy.. Until I discovered Moog was better. Case in point, i put these ball joints on an old Lincoln Towncar. Moog actually came in at a lower price than OEM... BUT.. had zerk fittings were original equipment, did not. A no-brainer. The quality is there, the price is there... Im there.

I needed these control arms because I was lifting my sedan I know that sounds right mucked but I did it put er on 31s sent er out into a field super bowl night going 220 right sent woke up ran to pick up my bumper threw er in the backseat and took off through the deep snow to getter back on the road now the impact from hitting the ground blew the trunk clean open ripped the hinge off battery mount blew out in the truck smashed the battery acid everywhere wouldnt start again the next day front end frames all bent to hell replaced almost every part in front of the firewall (accept the rack and pinion I think) somehow someway Im still running those same control arms on er today put that on a commercial.

Well, its not the best, had it less than a year and it totally fell apart. Editors Note: The Moog k500193 ball joint is greaseable. Most failures are due to not being greased after installation and at every oil change.

Recently, I had replaced my original control arms with some higher priced adjustable control arms and the change was horrible. Everything was done to remedy the problems, but nothing helped. I then decided to buy the control arms from MOOG. Once I painted them a bright Cherry Red to match the new trackbar I have, I had them installed. That solved my problem. I could not be more delighted. I highly recommend MOOG control arms.
