“Parts seem to be good quality, needs more retaining clip options.”

93 Ford Bronco The joints seem to be very good quality but I ran into issues during installation. These u joints should come with different sized retaining clips for installation. I had to grind every clip down to about half its original thickness to get the u joints to fit properly and not be overly tight and bind when installed. Most people dont have a surface grinder sitting in their garage to make this a simple and precise task. If the joints came with 2-3 separate clip choices I would give these 5 stars, but Ill give them 2 stars as they are currently provided.

The set we got were for our 1999 gmc suburban. We did the whole drive train on our girl. The staff was great to work with and they got us our set very fast. I would use Suspension.com again. Thank you guys. My oldest was rebuilding our girl in shop class or we would have a how to on putting them In on our youtube channel (mrsmel269). I replaced the entire driveshaft last month due to the ujoints poor performance. I cant say they failed but they were never as good as the original Nissan versions. Ive experienced the same issue with MOOG ball joints on the front end as well. Just replaced them last month too, due to noisy and uncomfortable ride quality. This could be a Nissan design issue but I wont use NON-Nissan on this truck again, regardless of the initial cost.

MOOG is a well-respected brand but my personal opinion is I wish these were made in the USA. Nonetheless, they fit perfectly and I have to trust the brand name for there long-standing reputation for quality and performance.

Received 2 out of the 5 ujoints I need and come to find out, thats all that was in the order. But the picture and description show 5 ujoints. And so they lost another customer at Moog and this shoddy company. Editors Note: We had a glitch on our website and has been corrected. The customer was contacted to correct the issue about the ujoints he needed.

“These should be labeled not for use with GM fusion welded drveshaft. I cant use them.”

The 2002 GMC Yukon I bought these to fit doesnt have replaceable ujoints. These parts may fit a gmc vehicle, just not this gmc vehicle. Editors Note:The 2 534g ujoints are correct for your 02 Yukon base 2 wheel drive. Gm injected nylon into the yoke to hold the ujoint in place instead of c-clips or snap rings. To replace the ujoints you burn the nylon out and knock out the OEM ujoints. The 534gs have the c clips included to hold the ujoint in place.

“I had trouble with the installation, the moog online tutorials provided the information to consider alternative solutions that worked.”

The replacement rear axle U Joint was 0.006" larger than the original, this prevented the installation of the second retaining ring, the original rings would not fit as well. The solution was to use 2 internal C clips (snap rings) from the hardware store 1 on each side. After 1,600 miles of heavy highway, winding mountain and city driving the C clip substitution works favorably and quite well !!

All 5 u joints failed within the first year. The warranty claim was a pain we ended up eating the cost and getting parts elsewhere. Editors Note: We asked for pictures of the issue. The customer did not want to continue with the warranty claim. For a Moog greaseable part to fail in a year is very unusual. Any Moog greaseable product must be greased after installation and at every oil change.

Fits 07 Xterra perfect, installation was straight forward, just make sure when installing on Xterra face the Zerk fittings towards driveshaft for easy greasing in the future. But thats, not the products fault. Will purchase Moog for my other bearing needs

“Not the quality I expected from moog”

These are basically the same design you get with a $12 duralast u joint from auto zone. The journals in the caps are quite a bit longer than the needle bearings which allows them to slide up and down inside the cap. Probably not the best for ensuring even distribution of stress and wear. Other u joints like GMB have thicker needle bearings and no play between the cap and retainer ring. They are twice as expensive as Moog but if you are going to cheap out, you might as well go with Duralast which is half the price of Moog. Editors Note: I have never heard of GMB u-joints. I do not have an opinion of the differences between GMB and Moog. I know Moog and the engineering and testing involved that goes into every Moog product sold. Moog u-joints are engineered to surpass OEM specs. The Duralast store brand you do not know who built it and if it was tested to even OEM standards. The reason for the cheaper price.
