2003-2013 Dodge Ram 4WD | Shock Absorber
Monroe Reflex shock absorbers for the 2003-2012 Ram 4WD 2500-3500 will replace worn OE shocks and provide a more consistent ride by reducing excessive body movement during turns, acceleration, and breaking.
If you notice that your Ram dives a little harder when you brake or that it rolls to the outside more than it used to then the front shock absorbers might need replacing. While the coil springs take care of the big jolts the shock absorbers smooth out all the little bumps and soften the side-to-side front-to-back movements of the truck. Over time the gas and oil in these shocks can escape or the valves can wear out until they are noticeably less responsive to bumps, breaks, and turns.
Longer Lasting, Consistent Shocks
When the shocks do wear down you could replace them with an OE set or you could upgrade to Monroe's Reflex Shock Absorbers.
The Reflex shocks have some advantages over OE that help them function better and last longer, like ASD (Acceleration Sensitive Damping) valve technology which reduces body roll and dives when breaking in vehicles with a high center of gravity. Displaced valves are tuned to specific makes and models to provide just the right amount of resistance for the smoothest ride possible. All-weather fluid and a larger reserve tube keeps the oil at the right temperature even in extreme weather and self-lubricating seals reduce rod friction and increase shock longevity.
