Installing Super Trail Boss stabilizers will eliminate the severe shimmying like the OE parts never could.
Stop the Shimmying with SSD107
Has severe shimmying been making you hate your Jeep's ride lately? Has it been so bad that you could feel it in the floor or steering wheel? You probably went and got some of your steering or suspension components replaced. If you replaced your steering stabilizer's with OE parts then the shimmying probably didn't stop. This is because the OE parts just aren't strong enough for the high demands of your Jeep. We know you're tired of that shimmying, so check out Moog's Super Trail Boss Steering Stabilizer SSD107, DST's preferred choice in solving your problems.
OE Design Flaw
The OE replacement steering stabilizer is too small for the high demands of your Jeep; with a standard bore of 1-5/8" in tube diameter and 11 or 12mm piston with standard valving. Your Jeep just puts too much pressure on these stabilizers and that is what's causing the shimmying in your floor and steering wheel.
The Trail Boss Greatly Improves Dampening
Moog has solved the problems that keep causing the shimmying to happen with SSD107. To start off with the Super Trail Boss's bore is larger by almost a full inch with it being 2-3/8" in diameter. This is better for dampening, durability, and provides a longer life. SSD107 also has a bigger piston at 14mm; this provides higher resistance and improved dampening as well. Super Trail Boss SSD107 has a 9.5% stiffer valving in compression and recoil, again improving dampening.
Don't Forget About the Lifetime Warranty!
Installing Super Trail Boss stabilizers will eliminate the severe shimmying like the OE parts never could. If just getting rid that shimmying isn't enough, SSD107 is cost efficient and also comes with a lifetime warranty that our customer service team here at DST can handle for you if something does go wrong with your stabilizer.
